I would like to take this opportunity to personally thank you for your collaboration in this year’s Back to School event, held on Saturday, August
31 from 10:00 AM to 1:00 PM. The event went exceptionally well and it would have not been possible without your support.

In order to help school districts meet the increasing challenges that lie ahead, a collaborative effort involving community members and businesses is necessary. The Tyler Independent School District Foundation was established to support and encourage our District’s public schools. The foundation serves as a catalyst for uniting our schools and community.
YakPak sent Guitar Straps to the students at TylerISD. The 2012-2013 Guitar club members at the J.R. Moore Math Science Technology Magnet School & the Robert E. Lee Fiddlers from Tyler, Texas were thrilled to show off their new straps! Click HERE to visit their website.
Blessings in a Backpack
Blessings in a Backpack provides elementary school children who are on the Federal Free and Reduced Price Meal Program with a backpack of food to take home for 38 weekends during the school year. This non-profit organization feeds over 62,00 children in 437 schools. By ensuring that children have food to eat, Blessings omits the chances of weak immune systems, shorter attention spans, and lower academic achievements. While children are fed by the federal government during the week, Blessings in a Backpack wants to make sure they are eating on the weekends as well.
Yak Pak is joining Blessings in a Backpack to create a difference in schools and children’s’ lives. By donating up to 100 school bags per month to schools around New York, Yak Pak is ensuring that children of America are eating, healthy and doing better in school.
